Bey Logan, who is a well-known expert on Hong Kong film and also appeared in a number of films, reviews 17 classic martial arts films. I have only read a few along with watching the films. They are very thorough covering the film but also some background, the actors and its relevance. A few of the films chosen are Fist of Fury,  Hapkido, Drunken Master, Five Deadly Venoms, Clan of the White Lotus. These days Logan certainly has his detractors for things in his personal life but he has long been one of Hong Kong films' leading proponents going back to his book Hong Kong Action Cinema that was published in 1995, long before most of us had any idea that there was such a thing as Hong Kong cinema. I don't believe at this point (March, 2023) that a volume II has been released.
