The focus of this book is the martial arts style used in Chinese martial arts films. Meaning that Blake will cover quite a few films and doscuss which legitimate styles or made up stayles are being used in the action scenes. I am reading this as I watch a film to see what he has to say. There was a tremendous amount of research done and a lot of films watched. A huge effort.
