Along with Moon Lee and Yukari Oshima, Cynthia Khan became synonymous with the Girls with Guns genre during the 1980's and 90's. Combining natural beauty and great athletic ability, she became a favorite of many and starred in a large number of films. Though best known for her Girls with Guns roles, Cynthia has also appeared in a number of period action films as well such as Blade of Fury and 13 Cold Blooded Eagles.

Born in Taiwan, she studied dance before appearing in her first film in 1987 - True Love. She came to the attention of the film company D&B who was looking for a replacement for their retired star - Michelle Yeoh (but known as Michelle Khan back then) and they hired Cynthia. Her film name is a combination of Cynthia Rothrocks and Michelle's.

Her first film for them - In the Line of Duty III - was a huge success and her long career was underway. She followed up this film with a number of sequels and other excellent films. Like many of the other Girls with Gun's stars - she had to star in a number of low budget films in the mid-90s as this genre fell out of fashion. Lately, though she has begun a successful career in HK TV and has been in a number of popular series.

These are some films that contain my favorite Cynthia roles.
