Sibelle Hu

Sibelle Hu was one of the most popular actresses in HK all during the 1980's into the early 90's. Her filmography reflects this as she has appeared in a huge number of films. In many of these though her parts were very small as the producers only wanted to get her name in the credits.

Born in 1958, Sibelle got her first movie role at the age of nineteen in a film called Kwun Han, but it was her appearances in The Lucky Stars films of the mid-80s' that made her a star. Though many of her roles have been in the Girls with Guns genre, I must admit that Sibelle's action abilities have never impressed me all that much. It is often obvious that she is being doubled. It is really her beauty and her presence that made her the big star she was.
