Aka - Springtime in Pattaya

In Cantonese. No Subs. Golden Harvest Production.

I had no idea what was going on here but I was curious to see what Thailand - Bangkok and Pattaya - was like 50 years ago. Unfortunately, there is a minimum of outdoor location shooting, so who knows. As far as I could tell two Hong Kongers (Danny Law and Wei Ping-ao) come to Thailand to look for the father of Law who disappeared years ago. They meet a fellow Hong Konger (Lee Kwan) who shows them around - that mainly being bars and massage parlors. Law happily chooses a girl and jumps into a private room while Wei is concerned about rising to the occasion. So Kwan takes him to a man who can raise a rope by blowing on his Punji, a snake charmer's instrument. One very old man walks into the room with a prostitute and it seems to work by the banging next door. So Kwan tries to blow while Wei gets in bed and a prostitute is in the bathroom but he runs out of breath. That was about the only part I understood. Law runs into a wealthy businessman who looks just like him and the businessman asks him to impersonate him.  And Tien Feng comes as well. Some nudity by the Thai women but without the subs this was pretty dull.
