HK Cinema - 1954
In 1954 Jackie Chan was born in HK to a cook and
a cleaning lady. One story that is told is that he was almost sold at birth
to a British doctor for $24. When Jackie was still a young boy, his father
received an offer to work in Australia and he decided to take the job.
There was not enough money though to take Jackie with them so his parents
had to find a way to leave him behind in HK.
